Arundo Racing
Our Story
Arundo Racing started as just an idea: 6 students from Durham Johnston Comprehensive School with a passion for f1 and a dedication to engineering uniting to form the team.
In September 2024, we began preparing for the regionals.
Sascha, the team manager, spent her nights developing, designing and delegating. And so, the website and the brand was created.
On our engineering team: Ben spent his evenings designing and perfecting the car, analysing the regulations, creating it on the computer, and bringing our dream to life. Asaph researched the manufacture, making sure that our car would be fast and striking on the day.
On December 12th 2024, we approached the regional final competition, and with the confidence and months poured into our cause, we secured 1st place as well as both the best engineered car and best pit display award.
We are now on our journey to nationals: innovating, designing and perfecting our brand and car. Wish us luck!
